Security Operations
Security Operations at Turner Theological Seminary provide 24-hour, continuous campus coverage and are responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly learning environment for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The Facilities, Security, and Student Relations team works collaboratively with institutional leadership to implement risk management protocols, preventive safety strategies, and emergency response procedures.
Through routine patrols, surveillance monitoring, incident reporting, and coordinated response systems, the department proactively identifies and addresses potential safety concerns. These practices support regulatory compliance, institutional accountability, and accreditation standards related to campus safety, student welfare, and operational integrity.
This comprehensive security framework ensures that Turner Theological Seminary remains a secure environment that promotes academic excellence, spiritual formation, community engagement, and institutional stability.

Emergency Preparedness
Turner Theological Seminary is committed to providing a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment for all members of its campus community. Our Security Operations team provides 24-hour campus coverage and works closely with institutional leadership and community safety partners to promote a culture of preparedness and care.
The Seminary maintains clear procedures for emergencies, including fire incidents, severe weather, medical situations, and security concerns. These guidelines are shared through regular safety briefings, campus alerts, and ongoing training.
Residential safety is supported through scheduled fire drills and emergency preparedness activities in Talbot Hall. Through continuous monitoring, collaboration, and review, Turner remains dedicated to protecting the well-being of its students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
